Rodrigo R. "Rod" De Llano Jr. is a Texas-licensed attorney and a founding partner of Danziger & De Llano LLP, a Houston-based plaintiff law firm focused exclusively on mesothelioma and asbestos-related personal injury litigation. He has practiced in Texas since 1993 and has represented mesothelioma patients and their families in cases litigated across the United States.

De Llano serves as one of three named legal reviewers for WikiMesothelioma's legal-topic pages, alongside Paul Danziger and Michelle Whitman.

Practice Background

De Llano began his legal career in the general litigation section of a large international law firm, where he defended corporations in commercial liability and product liability matters. In partnership with Paul Danziger, he co-founded Danziger & De Llano LLP, which has operated for more than 25 years with an exclusive practice focus on asbestos-related disease.

De Llano served as an Executive Producer of the 2011 independent film Puncture, starring Chris Evans. The film dramatized a medical-supply-industry case in which De Llano and Paul Danziger were involved as the original plaintiff attorneys.

In law school, he published "Distinction Between Mexican Law and U.S. Law Regarding the Mexican Pesos Devaluation" in the International Law Review (1982).
