Inventions and Patents

Puncture (2011 film)

Danziger co-wrote the original screenplay for and served as executive producer of the 2011 independent film Puncture, starring Chris Evans. The film dramatized a case Danziger initiated alongside attorney Michael David "Mike" Weiss involving corrupt practices in the medical-supply industry — specifically, hospital group-purchasing-organization arrangements that suppressed adoption of safety-needle technology invented by Jeffrey Dancort. The litigation was ultimately tried to verdict by Mark Lanier of The Lanier Law Firm in 2004, settling for over $150 million.[1][2] Puncture premiered at the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival and received the Spotlight Award.

Charitable Service

  • Board of Directors, Aishel House (2005–present) — Houston nonprofit providing accommodations for cancer patients receiving treatment at the Texas Medical Center
